Is a massive deployment of renewable-based low voltage direct current microgrids feasible? Converters, protections, controllers, and social approach

The main objective pursued by this survey is to debate the feasibility of a new distribution system in low voltage direct current (LVDC) microgrids and its impact on social development. To end, study provides valuable information for renewable energy planners researchers, giving insights or solutions reduce transition gap between network future DC microgrids. Mainly, article divided into interlinking converters, protection schemes, control systems, which have been analyzed taking account technical aspects an LVDC microgrid as well they poverty areas. This studies how networks can produce welfare. In short, paper assess implications issues, such inertia, grounding regulations, arc apparition, etc., providing different approach overcome these issues.
